When technical thinking and creative vision meet, a different perspective is born. This is exactly the professional balance of Tatuli Evgenidze, a junior architect at Layout, the design division company of Baumeri. Her love for mathematics and spatial thinking has been with her since childhood and ultimately led her toward architecture. She joined the Layout team two years ago and has been working on important projects ever since. Collaboration with a well-known Italian architectural studio is only part of her professional portfolio. In Tatuli’s development, the company’s support played a decisive role, as it gives employees the opportunity to gain international experience.
Since childhood, I was fascinated by mathematics and technical subjects. At the same time, I loved building constructions, 3D models, and assembling puzzles. I realized that I needed a profession that would bring all my interests together. This understanding helped me choose architecture as my path, and I enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture at Caucasus University. My student years were both enjoyable and challenging—I changed my city when I got accepted into university and had to start a completely new life on my own. I also started my first job while still studying, at an architectural company. I worked as a junior architect, mainly focused on design, visualizations, and frequent communication with clients. Through that experience, I saw myself differently—I realized my creative abilities were stronger than I had thought. As soon as I started working on real projects, I became certain that I was in the right place and that my professional path was on the right track.
I joined Layout thanks to a recommendation from my lecturer, who told me he saw potential in me. He wanted me to grow professionally, and I am grateful for that. I have been working here for almost two years, and during this time Layout has helped me grow significantly. I learned how to manage a project from start to finish—from design and development to final approvals. The experience I have gained also helps me improve my communication with clients and my teamwork skills.
My main responsibilities include design development, visualizations, and communication with the city hall. I believe that a strong sense of responsibility helps me the most. I am very motivated—I always look forward to seeing a completed project. It makes me happy to see projects I have contributed to come to life. My greatest motivation, however, comes from continuous professional development.

During these two years, I have come to see how important a healthy work environment is—one where you are trusted and where your development is consistently supported. Thanks to the company’s support, I attended Milan Design Week, where I was introduced to new trends and met representatives of leading companies. Such opportunities further enrich me professionally and help me fully realize my potential.
One of the particularly interesting projects for me at Layout is Baumer Academy, which teaches both company employees and external professionals the principles of engineering systems operation and maintenance. At the same time, we collaborate with a world-renowned Italian architectural company, which is a great responsibility for me. Each stage requires precise planning, and even a small mistake can affect the entire process, so I always approach my work with great attention and care.
I believe what makes my workplace unique is its constant focus on innovation and development. There are also internal clubs created for employees, where people from different professions come together around shared interests. Teamwork is especially important to me, because I am always learning something new, and I constantly feel that I can rely on my colleagues and receive support whenever needed
